Croatia Airlines

Croatia Airlines, the national airline of Croatia, started life as Zagal – Zagreb Airlines in 1989, with a twin engined Cessna carying cargo. The airline changed it’s name to Croatia Airlines after the county’s first democratic elections in 1990.

The airline acquired 3 Boeing 737 aircraft in 1992 and passenger transport started to develop.

Croatia Airways now has 8 Airbus A319 or A320 aircraft, 2 French built ATR 42 twin engined turboprop aircraft and 2 Dash 8′s.

Croatia airlines transported 1.7 million passengers in 2007

Kroacia Airlines, ajrore kombëtare të Kroacisë, filloi jetën si Zagal – Airlines Zagreb në vitin 1989, me një motor me dy ngarkesave Cessna carying. Ajrore e ndryshoi emrin e saj në Kroaci Airlines pas qarkut zgjedhjet e para demokratike në vitin 1990.

Linja ajrore fituar 3 avionëve Boeing 737 në 1992 dhe të transportit të pasagjerëve ka filluar të zhvillohet.

Kroacia Airways tani ka 8 A319 Airbus A320 ose avion, 2 frëngjisht ndërtuar ATR 42 motor binjake turbohelikë avion dhe 2 Dash 8 së.

British Airways

British Airways is the largest airline in the UK and third largest in Europe with their main hubs at Heathrow and Gatwick.

The airlines origins date back to 1919 when the company Aircraft Transport and Travel launched the worlds first daily international air service with flights between London and Paris.

Through a succusion of companies joining together which were then nationalised, BOAC and BEA were formed in 1939. These two airlines were then combined in 1974 to create British Airways.

After considerable restructuring, British Airways was privatised and floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1987, taking over British Caledonian in 1988 and DanAir in 1992.

In late 2009, British Airways announced that they had reached an agreent with Iberia Airways of Spain for a merger to be completed by the end of 2010. The two airlines have been working together with code share agreements for th last 10 years.

The airline now has a fleet of around 330 aircraft with most European flights using Airbus A319 – 321 though some flights use Boeing 737.

In 2006, British Airways transported around 35 million passengers.

The airline has the subsidiary CityFlyer which operatesfrom London City Airport

Origjinën e linjave ajrore datojnë që nga 1919 kur kompania Aircraft Transportit dhe udhëtimi filloi të botëve e parë ditore shërbim ajror ndërkombëtar me fluturimet mes Londrës dhe Parisit.

Në fund të 2009, British Airways njoftoi se ata kishin arritur një agreent me Airways Iberia të Spanjës për një bashkim të përfundojë deri në fund të 2010. Dy kompani ajrore kanë qenë duke punuar së bashku me marrëveshje të ndarë për kodin e 10-të vitet e fundit.
